We are looking for a Junior DevOps (Enabling) Engineer for a brand new HR solution. Be part of a dynamic, international team and create products that will 'wow' our customers located at our headquarter St. Gallen or at one of our other offices.

    As a Junior DevOps (Enabling) Engineer, your functions will be:
    • Write automation code to build scalable, reliable and secure cloud infrastructure
    • Set up infrastructure, tools and framework to streamline the development cycle
    • Be part of the team operating our new HR solution
    • Help creating our infrastructure as a code and application deployment pipelines
    • 2+ years of experience on enterprise-level Linux system administration. Some experience with these tools: Ansible, Docker, Jenkins (Groovy), Kubernetes, Git. If no experience with these tools, you'll learn them.
    • Strong networking, security, scripting (Bash), log analysis skills and systems performance skills.
    • Knowledge and experience with the AWS ecosystem would be very valued.
    • Willingness to learn new technologies and aspiration to grow into a senior DevOps position.
    • Professional level of English is a must.
    • Solid communications - even remotely -, team working and interpersonal skills, as you will frequently work with other technical and non-technical partners as a representative of our organization.
    • Good understanding of web application architectures (web servers, relational / non-relational databases, caching tiers, fault-tolerant design).
    • Professional certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience.
    • Multi-tasking, stress tolerant, pro-active, methodical and innovative working practice, good time management.
    • From time to time, travel between different office locations.
